There is marked similarity between the modifications of the same compound in the 3-5 micron region with noticeable difierences occurring among the skeletal frequencies, particularly in the range of 12.5 t o 14.5 microns. a-Copper phthalocyanine, when suspended in cyclohexanol, undergoes transition to the p-form.
