Products of Chemistry: A New Journal of Chemical Education Feature This new Secondary School feature will deal with the chemistry of specific everyday commercial items (foods, toiletries, cleaners, cosmetics, toys, ete.) readily recognizable to the high school and college student. Articles about these products may discuss their manufacture, the chemical principles underlying their use, how they mey be used to teach a specific concept, and ideas for modifying them far safe but unusual purposes. Papers would provide background or supplemental information for teachers of high school or introductory college chemistry. Two types of contributions are solicited: (1) full-length articles (2-3 journal pages) and (2) short anecdotal notes (L/4-% journal page), which would be similar to the Bits and Pieces items of the Computer Series. All submitted manuscripts should conform to Journal styleas exemplified in recent issues and spelled out in the "Notice to Authors" which appeared on page 93 of the January 1987 issue. Prospective authors should contact or submit manuscripts to the Feature Editor, George B. Kauffrnan, Department of Chemistry, California State University, Fresno, CA 93740.
