W H Y D O E S T H I S FAST-GROWING 1,000,000 C O M P A N Y ADVERTISE IN ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY? $

The first product advertisement ever placed by RESEARCH AND CONTROL INSTRUMENTS, INC. was a full page color ad in Analytical Chemistry. Today, twelve months later, RCI's annual sales volume has grown to over $1,000,000 . . . and the company is a regular advertiser in the magazine. The decision to tell RCI's product story first to the influential readers of Analytical Chemistry was made by the sales team shown above —a group of sales engineers well-known for their experience in the field of instrumentation. Their decision was based on the necessity of reaching the greatest number of prospects, in the quickest possible time, at reasonable cost. A steady increase in orders for RCI scientific and process control instruments has made it necessary for this young expanding company to move to a new, two-story plant at Lowell Avenue, Winchester, Massachusetts. RCI's ultramodern building provides twice the floor area for their engineering and manufacturing operations.
