Recipe for reliable Sun Sun process oils stretch roofing life. EPDM membrane for single-ply industrial roofing is well established. It's not hard to make, and it's easy to apply. The trick is to make sure it doesn't disappear! That's where Sunpar® and Sunflex® 2280 process oils come in. Low volatility is the key. Sunpar and Sunflex are fully refined, high VI, paraffinic oils with exceptionally low volatility. And, low volatility is the key to minimum shrinkage in roofing membrane. Because of their resistance to UV degradation and oxidation, their heat stability and other physical properties, Sunpar and Sunflex are obvious choices for many other applications, such as industrial belting, hoses, and foul-weather gear.
