Pictured on the cover is a device which can be used in gas chromatography to demonstrate and to measure the influence of overlapping peaks on the position of the peak maximum. Dr. A. I. M. Keulemans constructed the device and described it at the Second International Symposium on Advances in Gas Chromatography in Houston. A section of 27 papers from the Symposium begins on page 1410.
