Representation of Electrons in Orbitals

Ssnderson, 37, 2G2 (1960), prompted a freshman student in general chemistry, Mike Spritzer, to construct the teaching aid here pictured. The structure is made from standard Flexi-Frame components; orbitals are represented by Styrofoam balls. Colored paper strips help to differentiate prinoipal energy levels. The balls are impsled on nail8 held in heavy rubber tubing.
