in polyethylene: and polypropylene: with HumKo's new KEMSTRENE AMIDE E (Erucamide) KEMSTRENE AMIDE E, a long, straight chain ( C 2 2 ) fatty amide is the latest development for the plastics industry from HumKo's research and development and is now in full commercial production. In polyethylenes and polypropylenes there is a complex combination of surface requirements such as anti-block, slip, anti-static, susceptibility to heat sealing and the ability to be formed or molded. KEMSTRENE AMIDE E has been developed to provide, in as great a measure as possible, all of these interrelated characteristics.
Additionally, KEMSTRENE AMIDE E has three important processing advantages: 1. It is a fully flowable powder that can be incorporated into the system rapidly and effectively. 2. It is almost totally lacking in color and will create a minimum of color deterioration in end products. 3. It has excellent heat stability. Samples and technical information will be sent you promptly.
