HE following list of research scholarships and fellowships supported by industrial concerns and associations is the

fifth revision of one printed in INDUSTRIAL AND ENGINEERING CHEMISTRY, N E W S EDITION, in 1929. 1 In compiling it, requests

for corrections and additions were sent as usual to the industries reporting last time, and the information included here has, in general, been approved by them. A number of those in the former list have been completed, and a few new industries have been added, so that the list is composed of 85 industries supporting in whole or in part 175 scholarships and fellowships instead of the 115 supporting 200 of the 1934 edition. It is difficult to obtain information as to the newly established fellowships; practically the only sources of information are the current notes in industrial periodicals. Corrections and additions to this list are welcome, and should be sent to Research Information Service, National Research Council, 2101 Constitution Ave., N . W., Washington, D . C.
