Atoms for Peace Awards An appropriation of the Ford Motor Co. F u n d has been made available for setting u p the Atoms for P e a c e Awards a s a memorial to H e n r y F o r d a n d his son, E d s e l Ford. Proposed establishment of t h e awards was first announced last summer a t t h e Geneva Atoms for P e a c e Conference. Winners each y e a r will b e selected from individuals or organizations anyw h e r e in the world who are j u d g e d to h a v e m a d e t h e greatest contributions to t h e peaceful uses of atomic energy.
