Industrial Statistics and Quality Control Course A series of lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions on control problems of the chemical and process type in dustries will be given daily at the Rochester Institute of Technology, June 11 to 20. The course will cover among other topics: sampling, acceptance control charts, and determination of sample size. Tuition is $225 and includes text-

materials and supplies. For more in formation contact Robert L. Livermann, Assistant Director, Extended Services Division, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester 8, N.Y.

Course on Design of Experiments The special problems and techniques of chemical industry experimentation will be treated in a course offered by

the Rochester Institute of Technology, June 21 to 28. The course will also cover sampling and nested designs, sample size deter mination for significance tests, factorial experiments, and evolutionary opera tion. Tuition for the course is $175. Inquiries on the course should be sent to Robert L. Livermann, Assistant Director, Extended Services Division, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester 8, Ν. Υ.
