The new ACS product exhibit was located In the main registration area and It generated widespread and favorable reaction

Attendees moving between meeting hotels enjoyed both fine weather and the fun of riding on buses that resembled cable cars

At the Centennial/Diamond Jubilee banquet California Nobel Prize winners (from left) Melvin Calvin, Edwin M. McMillan, William F. Glauque, Glenn T. Seaborg, Harold C. Urey, Robert IV Holley, and Paul J. Flory were honored with commemorative plaques. Their wives also were honored with the awarding of special medals

President Seaborg delivered the principal address at the well-attended Centennial/Diamond Jubilee banquet

The booth selling ACS Centennial mementos was a busy place as was the Chemical Exposition

Also at the Centennial/Diamond Jubilee banquet, five more of the 25 ACS Centennial Foreign Fellows were honored. They were (standing from left) Henri Benoit, Norman E. Borlaug, Ephralm Katzlr (Katchalskl) (represented by S. Tadmor), Georges J. G. Smets, and Otto Wlchterle. 10 other fellows were honored during the spring ACS meeting In New York City and the remaining 10 will be honored In their own countries
