'y using this new type of automatic burette, you can stop accidental breakage caused by "frozen" glass connections and eliminate the use of lubricants, as well as annoyance, inconvenience and loss of time. That's because the "Teflomatic" has a solid Teflon plug which prevents sticking or binding and a Teflon-coated joint that won't freeze to the bottle. (Teflon provides a firm, secure seal which is broken by a slight twisting of the two parts.)
