Scratch Smell to get the true odor of Ameripol SN rubber. (What did you smell?) Paper? Perhaps. Ink? Maybe. Ameripol SN rubber? No. That's the way it is with our cis-polyisoprene. It has an absolutely bland odor, a bland taste, too. When we formulated Ameripol SN rubber, we knew its lack of taste and odor was something the rubber industry was looking for. But we also knew this: You don't base the development or marketing of a cis-polyisoprene rubber on blandness alone. There have to be other advantages. Ameripol SN rubber has them. For instance: Ease of Injection and Transfer Molding. You can quickly drop the typical raw Mooney (82) of Ameripol SN rubber and make a stock that's smooth, plastic, ideal for precise, time-saving injection and transfer molding. Lighter in Color. Ameripol SN rubber is lighter in color than either pale crepe or No. 1 RSS. You use less titanium dioxide to bring it down to a base white. You use less pigments.

Ready-To-Process Uniformity. Every bale of Ameripol SN rubber is uniform, pure, alike. You do not cross-blend. However, you may blend Ameripol SN with other rubber to enhance processing and end-product characteristics. Fast Carbon Black Incorporation. You get more pro duction out of your Banbury® mixer with Ameripol SN rubber. Put it into a Banbury, add black, start your cycle. No breakdown is needed for most recipes with a filler loading of 200 phr or less. Ask for data. Ask for samples. Test Ameripol SN rubber.
