Papers from the International Symposium on Biological Polyesters 2004 Special Section on Biological Polyesters The International Symposium on Biological Polyesters 2004 (ISBP2004) was held at the Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, August 22-28, 2004. This 10th anniversary of ISBP was organized by Professor George Guo-Qiang Chen, Department of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, Tsinghua University. New discoveries in the biopolyester area and related research, as well as new polymers and their applications, were presented. This inspired reviews and articles collected into a special section on biological polyesters.
