Sponsorship of Committee on Nuclear Science--NAS-NRC The Subcommittee on Radiochemistry is one of a number of subcommittees working under the the Committee an Nuclear Science within the National Academy of ScieneeeNational Research Council. Its members represent government, industrial, and university laboratories in the arees of nuclear chemistry and radiochemistry. One of the interests of the Subcommittee is the place of radiochemistry in college and university program. Previously, a eross-referenced index of published radiachemical teaching experiments was issued as NAS-NRC Publication 905. To further aid the instructor in deciding the value and the feasibility of including radiochemical experiments in his course, thesubcommittee is or CHEMICAL EDUCATION in ~ponsoringpublication of a series of collaborating with the JOURNAL new radiochemical experiments. The primary aim of this series is to point out unique advantages of radiachemical experiments far instructional purposes and to furnish to the instructor of inorganic, analytical, physical, organic, and biochemistry a variety of radiochemical experiments for his laboratory program.
