Stainless-dad SOLVED OUR CORROSION PROBLEM

American Solvent Recovery Company of Columbus, Ohio, designs and builds equipment to glean profits from solvent-laden air. Because many of the solvents handled are corrosive, Lukens Stainless-Clad Steel is used to combat that attack. " I t solved our corrosion problem," reports their chief engineer. In those industries where solvents must also be safeguarded against contamination, Lukens Clad Steels provide that protection. There's no corrosion to impair the quality of solvents. Is your corrosion problem one which nickel, stainless steel, Inconel or Monel will solve? You can get this solid metal protection at the lower cost of clad steels by specifying Lukens Nickel-Clad, Stainless-Clad, Inconei-Clad or Monel-Clad— a uniform thickness of the protecting metal permanently bonded to a steel backing plate. Claddings 10% or 2 0 % of total plate thicknesses suit most applications. Lukens offers the most complete range of clad steels available from any source. Bulletins 255 and 338 tell you about them. For copies, write Lukens Steel Company, 142 Lukens Building, Coatesville, Penna.
