PHOSPHORUS PENTASULFIDE is especially useful i n manufacturing lubricating oil additives, insecticides and ore notation agents. U s e it to stabilize aromatic amine, as a preparation of certain rubber additives, as a catalyst i n t h e production of dialkyl polysulfide and as a catalyst in blowing asphalt. Phosphorus Pentasulfide has long been used as an intermediate in organic synthesis. Monsanto makes Phosphorus Pentasulfide in two grades—regular and reactive.
PHOSPHORIC ANHYDRIDE is another valuable and versatile product. I t is especially useful as a desiccant and a s a catalyst in air-blown asphalt.
