Try adhesives based on LUTONAL® resins Pressure sensitive adhesives and tapes — both permanent and removable — can be effectively formulated with LUTONAL polyvinyl ethers, a family of adhesive raw materials. Take LUTONAL J 60, polyvinyl isobutyl ether, for example. This medium-viscosity tackifier yields films that successfully bond both rigid and flexible materials. Used in combination with other products such as L U T O N A L IC film former - LUTONAL J 60 markedly improves tackiness and increases bond strength. Such combinations remain unusually flexible at low temperatures. LUTONAL J 60 and LUTONAL J 30 (a lowerviscosity resin) are soluble in aliphatic, aromatic and halogenated hydrocarbons; higher boiling alcohols; and esters.
