Paper from Bamboo Produced in India. A process developed by experiments in India by which white paper of an excellent quality can be made from bamboo is attrabing interest, according t o W. H. Minor, vice consul a t Calcutta. Some progress is already reported in the commercial application of the new material for paper, and the formation of a company is being considered in England.-News Ed.. Ind. Eng. Chem.
