Prevent Accidental Mixing of Hazardous Fluids SWAGELOK "Keyed" Quick-Connects provide safe connection of lines in multi-fluid systems SWAGELOK "Keyed" Quick-Connects feature a positive mechanical lockout system which prevents accidental intermixing of different lines.

MATCHED "KEYS"

UNMATCHED "KEYS"

Allow flow and proper coupling

Allow no flow and prevent coupling

Only stems and bodies of the same key will couple. Stems and bodies are color coded and numbered for easy identification. Both, the "Keyed QC & QT" Series Quick-Connects offer single or double end shut-off with a choice of SWAGELOK Tube Fittings, male & female NPT and 37° AN flare end connections.

"Keyed QC" Series

Karin D. Caldwell received her Ph.D. (Fil. Lie.) degree in biochemistry from the University of Uppsala, Sweden, under the supervision of Jerker Porath. Four years of postdoctoral work with Cal Giddings at the University of Utah introduced her to field-flow fractionation. After obtaining the degree of Filosofie Doktor on the subject of enzyme immobilization based on hydrophobic interaction, she returned to Giddings's laboratory to apply FFF to biological separation problems. In 1985 she accepted a position as research associate professor of bioengineering and assumed the directorship of the Center for Biopolymers at Interfaces. She is actively involved in hiking and ski mountaineering. In addition, she is the president of the Swedish Heritage Society of Utah and holds board positions in the Wasatch Mountain Club and the Utah Symphony Guild.
