Revised Manuscript Received February 5, 1993 Palladium-containing block copolymers of general formula [Pd(CpN)(PA)l.[MTDl, (CpN= endo-2-(cyclopentadienylmethyl)norborn-5-ene,P A = a3-l-phenylallyl, and MTD = methyltetracyclododecene) that exhibit a spherical morphology when blended with polyMTD homopolymer have been prepared by living ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) using Mo(CHCMe2Ph)(NAr)(O+Bu)n (Ar = 2,6-diisopropylphenyl) as the ROMP initiator.
