IR Pressed Pellet Powders
KBr, Csl, and TIBr, IR Pressed Pellet Powders are suitable over a wide spectral and refractive index range.
An S-20 photomultiplier Type 9558B has a 2-inch diameter end window tube with 11 Venetian blind dynodes having CsSb secondary emitting surfaces. Gain is 3 X 10e, and dark current of the order of 2 na. The 9558B, with a borosilicate-glass window, covers the re gion between 3000 and 8500 A. The 9558Q, which has a Spectrasil window, covers the range of 1650 to 8500 A. Select grade tubes of both types are available. Signal averager designed primarily for biomedical and nuclear research, has four input channels, all of which can be displayed simultaneously on an integral oscilloscope. Each input signal is digitized to 512 points, which are stored in an internal mag netic-core memory and displayed on the oscilloscope. The numbers di rectly equal the voltage applied to the digitizer in millivolts and are indepen dent of sweep speed. Response of the new line of ruggedtip electrodes is said to be as fast as the thin bulb, fast-acting type. The membrane-glass formula reduces the sodium error and the special highalkalinity glass electrode has a zero error up to pH 14. A reference system compensates for errors due to tempera ture changes.
