ASTM Committee Week T h e American Society for Testing and M a t e r i a l s ' Committee Week and Spring Meeting will be held F e b r u a r y 4 to 8 at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, C a n a d a . Highlight of t h e meeting will be t h e first A S T M Lec­ t u r e on Outstanding Research p r e ­ sented by D r . Cyril Stanley Smith, Massachusetts I n s t i t u t e of Technology. D r . Smith will discuss "Some Out­ standing Historical Metallurgical R e ­ searches." M o r e t h a n 1000 scientists and engi­ neers are expected to a t t e n d the week's program.
