Must have the ability to operate solid-state NMR spectrometers (Bruker, Varian), oversee the analysis of solid materials using NMR, interpret C-13 and H-1 NMR spectra in an interactive fashion with sample submitters and other NMR spectroscopists. Applicants must have a BS in Chemistry, Physics, or related field, with 1+ years' NMR equipment experience. The ability to perform routine lab duties such as safety inspections, ordering supplies, maintaining superconducting magnets and cleaning glassware required.
