ecently the article entitled “Testing tubewell platform color as a rapid screening tool for arsenic and manganese in drinking water wells” (doi: dx.doi.org/10.1021/es203058a) has been published in ES&T. Since the online (ASAP) publication, the principal author of the article has received a number of requests from researchers for the GPS data of the studied platform sites. This GPS data had previously thought to be not very relevant to be included in the article since the locations of the sampling point were plotted on a map with coordinates (Figure 1 in the article). Considering the severity of arsenic pollution in groundwater of this region and necessity of future research, authors of the article now realize that the GPS data should also be published as a part of the Supporting Information so that these data could be disseminated along with the article to all who have access to the online publication and interested to work further. At this context the GPS data have been included in the SI Table 2 of the Supporting Information for publication.
