1 pound of Octadecyl Amine -will lift 7,000 lbs. of solids in a flotation cell. 1 pound of Octadecyl Amine Acetate will sterilize 5,000 gallons of water. 1 pound of Hexadecyl Amine Acetate will prevent algae growth in 5 t 000 gallons of water. 1 pound of Dodecyl Amine Acetate will reduce the surface tension of 500 gallons of water & 30°C. from 71 to 22 dynes per cm., or 1,200 gallons of water from 71 to 29 dynes per cm. 1 pound of Octadecyl Amine will form an adsorbed, oriented, monomolecular film on 217,600 acres of glass surface.
