Since its introduction several years ago the "Chemco" Fluorescent Balance Lamp has become established as an outstanding balance accessory of wide acceptance and noteworthy performance. Now offered in an improved model of smart design and increased efficiency, it is still modestly priced and equal or superior to balance illuminators sold at far greater costs. The metal housing has been made lower and wider, tapering to the front and providing a greater light re flecting surface. The push button switch is conveniently located a t the top and the connecting cord at the back center. The inside of the housing is finished in a white baked enamel and the outside in smooth gray "Hammerloid," a finish which is easily cleaned, will not crack or peel and blends with various balance finishes. The small amount of heat produced by the lamp is dissipated by air circulation and conduction through the metal housing. The accuracy or operation of the balance is not disturbed.
