The Editor’s Page
World Wide Web Site on Organometallic Chemistry As was reported on page 44 of the May 20, 1996, issue of Chemical and Engineering News, Professor Jose´ Vicente and his research group at the University of Murcia in Spain have started a home page, devoted to organometallic chemistry, on the World Wide Web (http://www.scc.um.es/gi/gqo). One of the objectives of the organometallic chemistry home page is to list names, postal addresses, phone and fax numbers, and email addresses of all organometallic chemists around the world. Also to be found on the organometallic home page are news items from the organometallic community (awards, meeting announcements, new books) and highlights in organometallic chemistry. Among the sections of the News is a new one, “Postdoctoral Positions in Organometallic Chemistry”. Professor Vincente (email:
[email protected]) would like to receive information for inclusion in the list of organometallic chemists from research groups or individuals giving, in addition to full name and title, postal address, phone and fax numbers, and email address, key words indicating current research areas. I urge members of the organometallic chemistry community to submit this information to Professor Vincente and to keep this information up-to-date.
