The kinematic viscosities of light, medium, and heavy crude oils, and their binary and ternary mixtures, were measured over a temperature range of 10-50 “C and a pressure range of 14.7-8000 psi. These data were used to develop a new method to predict the viscosity of crude oils and their blends a t high pressure, based upon the densities of the components and the kinematic viscosity at atmospheric pressure. This prediction method gave excellent agreement with the measured values, the absolute average deviations being 6 2 % and
