The Journal of College Science Teaching The National Science Teachers Association announces its new professional quarterly, The Jmcrnal ojCollege Science Teaching. Edited by chemist Leo Schuhert of the American University, the first issue of JCST will appear in October. The Journal will focus on problems and concerns stemming from the teaching and learning of science at the college level, "across the hoard," and primarily for nonscience majors. I t will be concerned with introductory college science programs in relation to scientific literacy as a. major goal of instruction for all students; with increased attention to the improvement of curriculom and teaching; and with relationships of science to technology and of science and technology to society.
