Matheson gases are routinely used for the calibration of Oxygen Analyzers, Gas Chromatography Units, Infra-red Analyzers, Thermal Conductivity Instruments and Mass Spectrometers. Here are a few of the types of gases supplied for specific purposes: O x y g e n Analyzers Any percentage of Oxygen in Nitrogen, Argon or Helium from a few parts per million to 100%. Gas Chromatography Mixtures containing up to 21 components have been supplied. Our Gas Analysis Department is prepared to recommend standards best suited to your application. Infra-Red Mixtures containing parts. per million quantities up to 100% of gases such as Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide and low-boiling Hydrocarbons up to Hexanes, in Nitrogen or other non-absorbing background.
Mass Spectrometers Reagent grade gases of highest purity, or specific mixtures as described above. Any mixture of the 80 gases described in the Matheson Gas Catalog may be made to your specifications, provided the constituents will not inter-react or create an explosive mixture within the cylinder.
