The short cut. If you're looking for concentration data from your spectrophotometer, why not get right to it? Concentrate on concentration. With a Perkin-Elmer DCR-2B Digital Concentration Readout you can doit. Read the result directly in numbers that stand for ppm, %, moles/ liter or any other concentration units you desire. This doesn't mean that you can't have a chart recording. It does mean that you won't have to interpret it. If you want a printed record, you can have that, too. The DCR-2B is fast and accurate. You put the sample in and immediately read the figures. There's no
fiddling or fussing. It won't degrade the results, because it's intrinsically more accurate than the analytical instrument. In fact, in the averaging mode it considerably enhances the precision of sample analysis. It will work for any spectrophotometer that has at least a 10 millivolt output. Experience shows that chemists rely more and more on direct readings and less and less on recordings when they own a DCR-2B. They concentrate on more important things.
A brochure, just off the press, goes into details of DCR-2B application and design, including some intriguing peripheral abilities. Send for it. W r i t e t o Electronic Products Division, Perkin-Elmer Corp., 131 Danbury Road, W i l t o n , Conn. 06897. NAME
