Because of shortages of drums and higher prices f.or drums that are available chemical manufacturers are changing policies and prices on d r u m s . In several cases where drums were inclusive as t o t h e quoted price, they must now be paid for; in other cases w h e r e extras for drums were being charged, t h e price of t h e extras has been raised. Fritzsche Brothers, Inc., N e w York 11, producers of aromatic chemicals, essential oils, and related chemicals, has issued a 12-page price list pamphlet for April. Attached to t h e booklet is a special notice to the effect that the prices in t h e list are within the company's ceilings as determined u n d e r the general price regulation as amended up to March 2 6 , 1951.
