What's so exciting about that? I use them for water-resistant adhesives.

There are lots of uses for molybdenum chemicals. Some are obvious — like high temperature catalysts. Or corrosion-resistant vapor deposited coatings. Others are not so obvious — like photographic fixing agents. Or water-resistant adhesives and plastics. Some people even use molybdenum chemicals in brazing and soldering fluxes. And they have recently been used in electrical insulations, additives for electroplating, and also as starting materials for growing single crystal, solid-state lasers. There are lots of other uses for our molybdenum chemicals. And we thought it might be interesting to run a little contest to see who can come up with the most imaginative idea. We'll give the winner a 1968, 180-sq.-in. Sylvania color television set (Model CD14K). All you have to do is fill in your name, title, company, address—and as many suggested uses for molybdenum chemicals as you wish. Then cut out the blank and mail it to: Molybdenum Chemicals Contest, Sylvania Metals & Chemicals, Chemical & Metallurgical Division, Towanda, Pa. 18848. Do it now. Entries must be postmarked before midnight, Dec. 31, 1968. Entries will be judged on the basis of the most imaginative new idea, and the winner selected by a panel of chemists (whose ^decision will be final). We'll notify the winner by •VÎ:^:-~mail within thirty days. And if you happen to need a molybdenum, chemical, give us a call. We've got all kinds. CHEMICALS BY
