What's so great about that? I use them for corrosioninhibiting paint pigments.
I use tungsten chemicals for catalysts. /
There are lots of uses for tungsten chemicals. Some are obvious — like high temperature catalysts. Or biochemical reagents and precipitants. Others are not so obvious—like corrosion inhibiting paint pigments. Or fixing agents for photographic processes. Some people even use tungsten chemicals in lightfast colors and inks. And recently they've been used as starting materials for growing solid-state optical masers and lasers. There are lots of other uses for our tungsten chemicals. And we thought it might be interesting to run a little contest to see who can come up with the most imaginative new idea. We'll give the winner a 1968, 227-sq.-in. Sylvania color television set (Model CE19E). All you have to do is fill in your name, title, company, address — and as many suggested uses for tungsten chemicals as you wish. Then cut out the blank and mail it to: Tungsten Chemical Contest, Sylvania Metals & Chemicals, Chemical & Metallurgical Division, Towanda, Pa. 18848. Do it now. Entries must be postmarked before midnight, Sept. 30, 1968. Entries will be judged on the basis of the most imaginative new idea, and the winner selected by a panel of chemists (whose decision will be final). We'll notify the winner by mail within thirty days. And if you happen to need a tungsten chemical, give us a call. We've got all kinds.
