In Figure 2 of the above paper (on page 6807), we inadvertently used sections from the same negative to illustrate the sizes of vesicles obtained at 28.6% water for both decreasing and increasing water contents. The same mistake occurred for 39.4% water. The picture for 28.6% is correct only for increasing water content, while that for

39.4% is valid for decreasing water content. The mistakes occurred during the transfer of information from sections of film negatives to electronic format and subsequent handling of the digital files. We have now checked all the other negatives and have ascertained that no other such mishaps have occurred. None of the conclusions of the paper are affected by this mistake.
