SYNTHETIC WAXES
DILLYDAP® Dilauryl Thiodipropionate and DISTERDAP® Distearyl Thiodipropionate Antioxidants are utilized in combination with hindered phenols in plastics to retard oxidation during processing and aging. Permitted for use in food packaging applications.
Carlisle's butyltin compounds range from t e t r a b u t y l t i n down to the m o n o b u t y l t i n s , and include the CAR-BAN Tributyltin Biostats. Applications include catalysts, stabilizers, biostats, and curing agents.
Carlisle's bisamides are high-amide content waxes used as lubricants, mold release agents, anti-block and anti-tack agents, and modifiers for many resins, waxes and adhesives. Two are permitted for food packaging materials by F.D.A.
URETHANE CATALYSTS SURFACTANTS AMBIDEX, AMBIDEX-PB, and CARDENE Amides are very low cost, dark colored, cationic surface active agents for o/w and w / o emulsions.
A line of five CARSTAN® Catalysts affords selection for flexible, rigid, and filled urethanes, as well as other polymers and esters. CARSTAN Catalysts are also used to stabilize polymer systems.
GLYCERIDES T h e s e r i e s of e d i b l e g l y c e r y l stearates includes both vegetable* and animal-derived esters. Flake or self-emulsifying forms are available.
SULFUR CHEMICALS Dibenzyl Disulfide shows excellent extreme pressure properties in lube oils and greases. It is an outstanding antioxidant and anti-sludging agent for petroleum products.

Dodecylbenzyl Mercaptan is a low-odor mercaptan useful in rubber polymerization as a chain regulator and in metal cleaning and polishing compounds.
