Additions and Corrections 2005, Volume 17 Kai Kamada, Kazuyoshi Izawa, Yuko Tsutsumi, Shuichi Yamashita, Naoya Enomoto, Junichi Hojo, and Yasumichi Matsumoto: Solid-State Electrochemical Micromachining.

Please note the following corrections to this communication (Chem. Mater. 2005, 17, 1930-1932). In this communication, we proposed a micromachining technique using a solid electrochemical reaction at the microcontact between metal and ion conducting ceramics. However, a related technique using ion conducting polymers has already been published by Bard and co-workers (Hu¨sser, O. E.; Craston, D. H.; Bard, A. J. J. Vac. Sci. Technol., B 1988, 6, 1873-1876). Unfortunately, this paper was not included in our publication, and we thank to Prof. A. J. Bard for bringing this to our attention. CM0603856 10.1021/cm0603856 Published on Web 03/01/2006

Please note the following corrections to this article (Chem. Mater. 2006, 18, 702-707). The correct statement for lines 7-9 in the right column of page 706 should be: “The wavenumbers at 460, 790, 950, 1090, 1640, and 3440 cm-1 represent the bonding of Si-O, Si-O-Si, Si-O-H, C-O/Si-O, N-H/C-N, and O-H, respectively (Table S2).” CM0603553 10.1021/cm0603553 Published on Web 02/23/2006
