The ever-expanding Upjohn facility in LaPorte, Texas together with plants in Europe and Japan now have the capacity to produce 300 million pounds of Upjohn isocyanates in 1975. These 300 million pounds of Upjohn isocyanates will meet the increasing urethane demands world-wide in transportation, construction, furniture and bedding, flotation, packaging, footwear and other consumer goods.
