TODD STOPCOCK TENSION CLIP This newest design of stopcock tension clip (U. S.Pat.No.2,621,887) has more advantages than any other clip yet developed. This selflocking clip prevents stopcock plugs from falling out or leaking under either pressure or vacuum. Other advantages are its security, compactness, ease of attachment or removal, adjustability of tension, versatility, simplicity of design, and all stainless steel construction. It is available in two standard sizes to fit all Corning stopcock plugs Nos. 1, ll/2, 2, 3, 4, and other makes of similar size plugs.

MICRO-POROUS BOILING CHIPS These specially selected micro-porous chemically inert carbon chips are recommended to prevent " b u m p i n g " of aqueous or non-aqueous boiling liquids either at atmospheric pressure or under vacuum. These chips maintain smooth boiling during an entire vacuum distillation even though the vacuum is released several times. These chips eliminate the need for using air bleed tubes which frequently cause oxidation or decomposition of the liquids being distilled. These chips may also be used for many other laboratory boiling operations, such as, evaporations, extractions, refluxing, condensations, chemical reactions, fractionations, etc. Only a few chips are required for each boiling operation.
