CHECK THESE FEATURES SILENT OPERATION of this burner enables the operator to work with in creased efficiency and without disturbing the surrounding personnel. This silent operation is obtained by pre-mixing the gases within the burner prior to external combustion. EASY OPERATION — This burner is in reality two independent burners built concentrically in the same burner body. The two rear center valves supply gas and oxygen to the center burner for all small flames, while the two opposite forward valves supply gas and oxygen to the outer burner for all intermediate and large flames of either annealing or sealing type. Either concentric burner may be used independently or in combination in order to produce an unlimited range of flame sizes and characteristics. SPEED OF CHANGING FLAMES from very small to large flames, and vice versa, is had by manipulating only one or two valves depending on whether an annealing or sealing flame is desired. SPECIALLY DESIGNED TO WORK PYREX TYPE GLASS —Tubing ranging from VA to 3 inches in diameter can be easily worked. WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE from a relatively cool annealing flame to an intensely hot silent flame sufficient to readily fuse quartz. ALL TYPES OF GASES normally available in laboratories and shops can be used with oxygen in this burner with maximum efficiency and economy. EXTERNAL PILOT LIGHT prevents all flames from blowing out during operation. STAINLESS STEEL CENTER INSERT in burner cap keeps the center flames sharp and well defined. NO CHANGING OF BURNER TIPS, sleeves, etc., are necessary since all flames are produced by manipulating only the valves. OTHER USES — The broad versatility of this burner recommends it for many other types of laboratory heavy duty heating operations.
