Dual Headed Flame Photometric Detector for Simultaneous Three-Way Response! (P,S and normal FID mode) The Melpar FPD has been further improved with the addition of an optional second photometric channel A single hydrogen-rich flame is used for simultaneous observation of phosphorus and sulfur emis sions plus ionization response with a standard target. Careful calcu lation of response ratios can assist in the absolute identification of Ρ and S containing compounds. The new detector is based on the dual detector described in Anal. Chem. 4 0 , 1 4 4 8 , [19683 by M.C. Bowman and M. Beroza.

FPD . . . already established for hundreds of analyses: • PESTICIDES · PETROLEUM FRACTIONS # AIR POLLUTION • NATURAL GAS β FLAVORS · PHOSPHOLIPIDS

IMow operable at 2 5 0 C to bring a new dimension to more analyses. For most successful operation, the FPD should be used with an all-glass system -such as "the u l t i m a t e c h r o m a t o g r a p h : " The MICRO TEK MT220
