Tristimulus Colorimetry Calculator Program A program has been written in Basic for the Hewlett-Packard 9830 Calculator which performs the calculations of the Reilley and Sawyer experiment on preparation of a screened indicator ["Experiments for Instrumental Methods," MeGraw-Hill. New York, 19fi1, Chapter 6-91,Given input of points from the spectra of the two limiting forms of the indicator, and of two pH-inert dyes, the program calculates the volume ratio in which indicator and dyes should he mixed to produce a screened indicator showing a grey endpoint. This program was prepared by Mr. Fung as part of his work on a Chem 13 News Assistanceship, which is acknowledged with thanks. Copies of the program listing can be obtained on request.
