The controller is available in two standard ranges of conductivity: 0 to 30 micromhos/cc, or 20 to 200 microm h o s / c c , for use with conductivity cells having a constant of one. The scale calibration is nonlinear, and provides maximum readability at high specific conductivities. A single setpoint knob on the front provides control within the range of instrument calibration. Accuracy is 0.5 per cent of full scale sensitivity is 0.1 per cent of full scale, exclusive of the cell and temperature compensator. 7

Bantam-ware, a complete small organic chemistry laboratory kit, has recently been introduced by the Kontes Glass Co. The storage cabinet has an aluminum supporting framework securely bolted to its chemically resistant top. The glass apparatus features special ground joints with standardized hose connections. Standard taper joints have cylindrical outer walls to ensure firm clamping; ball and socket joints are used for connections mounted at the distillation angle. The apparatus is intended for volumes of less than 5 ml. to 50 ml. 9
