Our aim in building the M-66 was to repeat in mass spectrometry what we did in NMR with our A-60: put a workhorse instrument in your hands to help you do more chemistry easier, faster, and at less cost. You wanted a mass spectrometer that would go to mass 2000, have resolution ^ 2000 ( Am v™ma—) and mass measurement accuracy of 10 ppm, and sell for around $45,00C What we did was build it for you.
