Volunteers Needed for IUPAC Newsletter The IUPAC Committee on the Teaching of Chemistry plans to publish a new periodical, The International Newsletter on Chemical Education. Its publication is intended to promote the exchange of ideas and the dissemination of information all over the world. It is supported by lUPAC and UNESCO funds. Dr. C. N. R. Rao is the editor. The first issue, November 1974, summarized the recommendations of the International Congress on Improvement of Chemical Education held in Wraclaw in 1973, and contained announcements describing future international Conferences and brief reports on recent developments in several different countries. Xerox copies of issue 11 can he obtained by sending to the undersigned a self-addressed 10 x 12-in. envelope with 30e postage affixed. Future issues will contain reports of important developments in chemical education from many different countries. Volunteers are needed to prepare the report describing such events in the U.S.; those who wish to help should notify the undersigned and will he apportioned a share of the work by Dr. Robert West, Chairman of the Division of Chemical Education.
