The Model AL7500 electromagnet, made of soft magnetic iron, is said to provide more homogeneous field strength per pound and per dollar than conventionally designed mag nets. The coils are wound of alu minum strip insulated with Mylar and epoxy resin so that there is excellent thermal conductivity throughout and no local hot spots within the coil. With 4 " pole caps and V2" gap, the AL7500 gives at least 10,000 gauss; with a 1/4" gap, 20,000 gauss can be obtained. A large variety of pole caps is available. Alpha Scientific Labs., P. 0. A low cost, all-purpose drying agent, D R I E R I T E is n e u t r a l in reaction, chemically stable, constant in vol ume, inert except t o w a r d water, in soluble in organic liquids a n d re frigerants, non-disintegrating, nonwetting, non-poisonous, non-cor rosive, repeatedly regenerative, a n d non-channeling.
INDICATING
A self-checking potentiometer, de signed for measurement of electromo tive force or potential difference, has a calibrated accuracy of ±0.0015% of reading +0.1 microvolt. The fourdial Model 2802 has a single range from 0 to 2.0999999 volts in steps of 0.1 microvolt, and visual readout of all eight digits. The limit of error is ±0.003% of reading +0.1 microvolt.
