We'd like you to meet the newest arrival in our family of chemical products—maleic anhydride. And if you haven't already been introduced, we'd like you to also say hello to another member of our family—phthalic anhydride. Koppers maleic anhydride and Koppers phthalic anhydride have a great deal in common to offer. For example... Quality is uniform. Maleic anhydride has 99.5% purity and phthalic anhydride rates 99.8% pure. Both have low initial color (maleic has an APHA standard of 20 and phthalic has a 30 APHA), and both have excellent color stability. And you get all the advantages of economy and convenience that go with single-source buying. Both maleic and phthalic anhydride are produced at our newly acquired facilities in Bridgeville, Pa. From there, you can order maleic anhydride briquettes in 50 lb. bags and phthalic anhydrideflakesin 80 lb. bags, or both in the molten form.
