Polyethylene is the material from which the bottles are usually made. This is inert to most materials and the bottle is easily cleaned. The threaded bottle top sizevaries from one commercial brand to another but most will fit into a 250-ml volumentric flask. A Murinea brand, 0.6-oz, eye drop bottle was most suitabl~forthe smaller volumetric flasks. ~~~
