What does the Eli Lilly Grantee Award provide to academic research?

Answers. Lilly has the longest running research grant program in the pharmaceutical industry. For 40 years, Lilly has recognized and rewarded emerging leaders in organic chemistry with the resources to find answers that matter. Past recipients have gone on to become leading academic scientists and pharmaceutical researchers. The Lilly Grantees from 2005 will receive a $100,000 unrestricted grant payable over two years. We would like to congratulate the 2005 recipients of the Lilly Grantee Award in Organic Chemistry:
